New Series

Since 2001, the Society has been engaged in a publishing venture in conjunction with Oxford University Press, to produce a series of short philosophical books known as the Lines of Thought series.

There are currently five volumes in this new series:

  • Hume Variations by Jerry A. Fodor (published 2003)
  • Perfectionism and the Common Good: Themes in the Philosophy of T.H. Green by David O. Brink (published 2003)
  • Moral Fictionalism by Mark Eli Kalderon (published 2005)
  • Knowledge and Practical Interests by Jason Stanley (published October 2005)
  • Thought and Reality by Michael Dummett (published 2006)
