Information for Members

1 - Change of contact details

Members are responsible for informing the Society of any change in their contact details or status (as a student).

If publications are sent to an address from which the member has moved and this is due to the member failing to notify the Society in time, publications cannot be replaced nor subscription charges refunded. Notifications should be received by:

Bound Proceedings - start of October
Supplementary Volume - start of June

2 - Non-receipt of Publications

If a publication fails to arrive, the member should notify the Society as soon as possible so that the matter can be investigated and volumes replaced if the fault is with the Society or the postal service. If volumes cannot be replaced, a refund of the subscription value or the part of the subscription represented by the missing volume will be given. Failure to notify the Society in good time may result in the Society being unable to remedy the situation, i.e. replace volumes or issue an appropriate refund. If publications do not arrive by the end of the month specified, members should contact the Executive Secretary:

Bound Proceedings - October.
Supplementary Volume - June.

3 - Subscription Renewals

The Society endeavours to give its members ample notice of the renewal deadline. Renewals should be made before the start of a new subscription year in September. Reminder notices are sent to members in June (with the exception of those who pay by Banker's Order, who will be notified only when prices change).

The Society prints its volumes in quantities that track actual subscription numbers. Those, therefore, who wish to change their subscription category should inform the Society as soon as possible after receiving their renewal reminder.

Members should note that late renewals may be disappointed.
