about
Giulia Felappi is an Associate Professor at the University of Southampton. Before joining Southampton, she completed her PhD at King’s College London, where she also held an Analysis Trust Studentship. Giulia works primarily at the intersection between philosophy of language and metaphysics. The aim of her research is to understand the relationships among three fundamental kinds of entities: objects and facts in the world, thoughts about those objects and facts, and language about objects, facts and thoughts. Giulia’s approach is both theoretical and historical. She is particularly interested in the accounts of facts and thoughts in the history of Analytic Philosophy, and especially in the accounts of early analytic women philosophers.
