Michael Hannon is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Nottingham. He received his PhD from the University of Cambridge, King’s College in 2013. He is author of What’s the Point of Knowledge? (OUP 2019) and co-editor of Political Epistemology (OUP 2021) and The Routledge Handbook of Political Epistemology (Routledge 2021). He has published on various topics in social and political epistemology, such as the nature and value of knowledge, expressive political discourse, political empathy, and the role of truth in politics. As Honorary Director of the Aristotelian Society, his responsibilities include the management and oversight of the Society’s general operations.
