Malcolm Keating is interested in how language works, both for communication and for knowledge. He investigates these issues in premodern, South Asian philosophy, informed by the broadly analytic tradition. He is the author of Language, Meaning, and Use in Indian Philosophy (Bloomsbury 2019) and Reason in an Uncertain World (OUP 2024). As Managing Editor at the Aristotelian Society, Malcolm oversees the publication process for both the Proceedings and the Supplementary Volume. He coordinates with local host institutions to help organise the yearly Joint Session and manages the day-to-day running of the Society, including the accounts and annual audit.
