Call for expressions of interest - executive committee role

The Aristotelian Society would like to call for expressions of interest in the role of Executive Committee member. The Society is looking for one new member to join the committee beginning in September 2024.

The Aristotelian Society was founded in 1880 and continues to meet fortnightly during term-time at the University of London’s Senate House to hear and discuss philosophical papers. The society also co-organises the Joint Session of the Aristotelian Society and Mind Association, a conference which since 1910 has grown to become the largest gathering of philosophers in the country. The conference has taken place at nearly every major university across the United Kingdom and in Ireland. Papers from the Proceedings and the Joint Session are published in the society’s two journals, the Proceedings of the Aristotelian Society and Supplementary Volume. In addition, each year the Aristotelian Society funds a number of conferences, student bursaries and subsidies.
